Installation: Usually 3-4 weeks following receipt of the customers order.

 

CallRex Pro Server/Data collector will be pre configured with CallRex Software housed in a 19inch rack mount which can be standalone or rack mounted.

 

It generally takes between 2 to 5 hours to install CallRex once port mirroring is configured depending on the size of the system.

 

 

 

Customers Responsibilities

 

1.         Provide IP Data switches – Must support   port mirroring / port spanning

 

            The data switch must have the ability to mirror multiple ports to a single port

 

            CallRex will be sniffing a port on, In many cases, with some IP PBX systems, there will be    

            multiple components of the overall phone system on the data switch (such as the IP PBX             server, E1's, PRI's

 

            Switches that CallRex has been implemented on for example are HP Procurve, HP Proliant,             Dell Poweredge or Cisco Catalyst switches. 

 

2.         Customer to confirm with their VoIP switch manufacturer that it supports port mirroring             as needed and is configured to do so prior to installation.

 

3.         Provide network connection point  Servers must be connected to the network and data   

            switch with Internet access.

 

5.        Provide a static IP address fro the CallRex server.

 

6.        Customers Network / IT specialist to be on site to:

 

            a. Configure the CallRex server with IP addresses and network settings.

            b. Install remote access clients on customers PC’s

 

7.         Internet / VPN Access.  Required for installation, training, remote diagnostics support and             software upgrades and fixes.

           

8.         Administrator / Operators. Be available for training directly after installation completion     

            allow 2 hours same day

 

These are Mandatory requirements to enable a predictable and successful installation to allow users to be speedily up and running with CallRex.
